The most unusual building I've ever seen is The Sea Ranch Chapel. It reminds me of the Sorting Hat from Harry Potter.

Laura W.: I have been watching birds since the summer of 1987, when I held an internship at the Point Reyes Bird Observatory (now Point Blue) in Bolinas, CA. I have not been the same since. Now I occasionally write about birds when I'm inspired by seasonal changes or by questions from newer birders. I am especially interested in listening to birds, letting my ears do the work instead of my tired eyes.
