Like I said before....they can take your head off. And sound like Mr Burns at the same time. You don't mess with that.

Laura W.: I have been watching birds since the summer of 1987, when I held an internship at the Point Reyes Bird Observatory (now Point Blue) in Bolinas, CA. I have not been the same since. Now I occasionally write about birds when I'm inspired by seasonal changes or by questions from newer birders. I am especially interested in listening to birds, letting my ears do the work instead of my tired eyes.
