Tualatin National Wildlife Refuge, Trip 2

Today's Beginning Birding 2 field trip was another smashing success. I wasn't at my peak, still feeling a little funky, but the birds took over and everyone had a great time. Our list was mostly the same as last week's with the subtractions of Turkey Vulture and Osprey and the additions of Orange-crowned Warbler, Spotted Sandpiper and Wilson's Snipe (fantastic looks at three birds feeding with a Greater Yellowlegs and a pair of Green-winged Teal). This time I brought the camera to show that I really do have people with me......

Here they're watching hordes of Yellow-rumped Warblers

Scopes trained on Cinnamon Teal and Eurasian Wigeon
